Today we’re taking a super short, sharp and shiny look at work trials, and when they are great to use as part of your recruitment campaigns.
You may not be aware, but the Fair Work Act allows for unpaid work trials, to allow you to assess an applicants skills for the position. Whilst there are some limitations and rules, if you have a position you are hiring for which requires a certain skill set, like a barista for example, these can be great tools to help you make great hiring choices.
In today’s episode we looked at how to use work trials and when, as well as at what point it’s becoming a paid versus unpaid trial.
