The Great Resignation - What's all the Hype About?

Today we are chatting about a phenomenon you may have heard about, but weren’t sure was actually real - The Great Resignation. Today we discussed what exactly it is, and what on earth all the hype is about.

 

Whilst it is something that we’re seeing play out largely overseas, specifically in the US right now, experts are predicting it will hit Aussie shores by March 2022, which they are already calling ‘March Madness’. To be fair, I’m already seeing signs of it starting to emerge in fewer and fewer applicants around, for jobs which would usually attract a high volume of top quality applicants.

 

There are things you can proactively do right now though to identify flight risks in your team, prevent them moving on, and mitigating the fall out when team members do inevitably leave though.
